Grading of the obverse for Barber Quarters also applies to the Barber Half and Barber Dime as they share the same design.
The focus of grading on the obverse is on the high points of the cheeks, the hair below LIBERTY, the tips of the leaves, the top of the cap and LIBERTY itself. The reverse focuses on the Eagle's head, neck and the tips of the tail and wings. Also check the edges of the leaves for traces of wear.
